Well, it’s been a good half a year since I’ve posted something two dimensional, so I figured I was about due. I’m mightily happy with this, moreso because I did it in like an hour. As usual the transition from real life to the computer has eaten a few details, but that's life, and the mighty staying power of good ol' oil on canvas will not be denied.
An interesting phenomenon has come to my attention: why is it that I always do my best painting when I'm playing just the most impossibly sappy chick music ever created? This makes no sense, because normally I don't even particularly like Sarah McHoweveryouspellit. But when I'm painting, I'll fiddle and noodle and push the paint around and generally be unhappy with the results, and then the minute I play “Bucket Of Vaginas” by Jewel, I'm in the ZONE. Weird. Eerie.
